Location Information

The 6th Street parking lot serves as a popular parking destination for the Broward County Courthouse. The courthouse serves a 1,197 square-mile region of South Florida home to a population of 1.8 million, and provides a number of legal services to the public. Currently, construction is underway to expand the courthouse with a new 20-story, 714,000 square-foot building. The parking lot is also central to a number of public destinations, including restaurants, theaters, and the city’s Riverwalk.

Situated on the southeast coast of Florida, Fort Lauderdale is centrally located between Miami and Palm Beach. The city encompasses more than 33 square miles with a population of nearly 170,000.
